EXTRZOOM HEAD GASKET SHELLAC
Premium Brush‑On Gasket Sealant
Product Description:
EXTRZOOM Head Gasket Shellac is a high-quality, hard-setting shellac-based sealant designed to provide a reliable, leak-proof seal on metal and non-metal gaskets. Ideal for head gasket installations, intake manifold gaskets, and threaded fittings, this product ensures threaded assemblies and gasket surfaces remain tightly sealed, even under thermal cycling.
Features & Benefits:
✅ Hard‑Setting Seal – Sets to form a durable, semi-flexible seal that accommodates heat-induced expansion and contraction.
✅ Broad Compatibility – Suitable for use with metal, paper, cork, and composite gaskets, as well as threaded plugs and fittings
✅ Chemical Resistance – Effective against oil, coolant, diesel/petrol, and most automotive fluids.
✅ Wide Temperature Range – Remains effective from low operating temps up to approximately –65 °F to +350 °F (–54 °C to 177 °C) .
✅ Brush‑On Application – Comes with an applicator for precise application and clean gasket installation.
✅ Engineered for Easy Disassembly – Dries slow enough to allow future removal and maintenance without damaging gasket surfaces.
Applications:
✅ Cylinder Head Gaskets – Helps fill minor surface imperfections for a gas-tight seal.
✅ Intake/Exhaust Manifolds & Oil Pan Gaskets – Ideal for low-pressure gasketing and flanges.
✅ Threaded Components – Ensures leak-free assembly for plugs, fittings, and pipe threads.
Specifications & Approvals:
✅ Shellac-based, non-curing sealant (not anaerobic or silicone).
✅ Compatible with standard automotive sealant requirements, as per OEM repair practice
